Biography

SOPHOMORE (2018) – Served as a valuable corner infielder, having made 29 appearances while starting in 17 games in her first season with the Pack … Finished the year starting in Nevada’s final 13 games, having helped lead the Wolf Pack to an 8-5 record during that span … Put together a six-game stretch during conference play where she batted .467 with a home run and a .733 slugging percentage … Recorded the first home run of her Wolf Pack career in Nevada’s win over intrastate rival UNLV … Came off the bench in the seventh inning and connected on a two-RBI single that tied the score in the series finale against Utah State … Set a career high 10 putouts in the Pack’s series-opening win over Utah Valley … Helped Nevada make back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons … Letterwinner.

PRIOR TO NEVADA – Attended York College in York, Nebraska where she played one season under Veronica Miller … Earned KCAC honorable mention … Concluded her last season with a batting average of .350, an on base percentage of .390 and a slugging percentage of .559.

HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Bullard High School in Fresno, California where she played four seasons under Jaime Maxey … Finished her high school career batting .382 … Tied for third-most doubles in Bullard softball history with 32 … Helped lead her team to a CIF DI Valley runner-up finish in 2013 and won the CMAC conference all four years … A three-time, first team All-CMAC and four-time Scholar-Athlete … Made the Fresno Bee Softball All-Star team in 2016 … Awarded the Jenny Eller Spirit Award in 2016 … Apart of Fellowship Cristian Athletes (FCA) from 2012-2016.

PERSONAL – Daughter of Jack and Gerri Ahart … Has one older brother, Jackson, and two younger sisters, Jenna and Joie … Father, Jack, played baseball at Montana Stata … Majoring in psychology in hopes to become a prison psychologist … Chose Nevada because “There is a competitive atmosphere here that I am excited to experience with these girls. It has a beautiful campus that is very welcoming to all.” … Lists Lauren Chamberlain as her sports hero … Remembers winning a Premier Berth to PGF Nationals in 100+ degree weather in Hemet, California in 2015 after playing 4 games earlier that day as the most memorable moment of her career … Enjoys googling pictures of Corgi puppies, watching Netflix, and cooking.
