Biography

SENIOR (2018) – Wrapped up her final year with the Wolf Pack having received second team All-Conference honors for the second time in career and third overall All-Conference accolade … Finished the regular season on a 10-game hitting streak, where she batted .389 with 10 runs scored during that stretch … Tied the program record with the 17th triple of her career in the Pack’s win over San José State … Named Nevada’s Bradley, Drendal & Jeanney Student-Athlete of the Week after batting .500 with a home run and six runs scored in the Pack’s series win over New Mexico … Finished conference play with six stolen bases, which was sixth-most in MW play … Logged a 15-game reached base streak in which she batted .373 with 13 runs scored and four multiple hit games … Tied a career-high with four hits and two stolen bases in Nevada’s series-opening win over SDSU … Went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in Nevada’s series-opening win over New Mexico … Helped Nevada make back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons … Letterwinner.

JUNIOR (2017) – Earned first-team All-Mountain West honors after leading the Pack with a .351 batting average and 60 hits on the year … Named to Fast Pitch News’ preseason list as one of the top juniors to watch in 2017 … Her .424 average during conference play led Nevada and ranked second amongst all other MW players … Finished leading the conference with nine triples, which also ranked in a tie for second-most in the nation … Collected at least one hit in all but two of the Pack’s 24 conference games, recording nine multiple hit games in the process … Posted a 10 game conference hitting streak, where the Pack won seven of its 10 games during that span … Led Nevada with a team-high 16 multiple hit games and a season-high nine game hitting streak … Batted .581 (18-for-31) with 12 RBIs and nine runs scored during that nine game hit streak … Completed the year compiling a hit in 11 of Nevada’s final 13 games, batting .375 (18-for-49) with 10 runs scored during that stretch … Posted a career-day at the plate against Portland State, tying her career-high with four hits, including two triples and three runs scored … Her two triples tied a program record for most triples in a single game … Recorded a two-RBI double in the bottom of the seventh against Colorado State to help Nevada earn its first series sweep of the season … Capped off a 3-for-4 performance against Binghamton with a three-RBI double in the bottom of the fifth to seal an 8-0, run-rule victory for the Pack … Registered a career-high two assists against Boise State … Helped lead Nevada to its first postseason berth since the 2009 season.

SOPHOMORE (2016) – Second-team All-Mountain West … NFCA Second Team All-West Region … Had a breakout season for the Wolf Pack … Hit .404 with six home runs, 30 RBI, eight doubles and five triples … Registered only the fourth .400 season in program history … Slugged .651 and posted a .425 on-base percentage … Started in all 47 games … Tallied four outfield assists from center field … Ranked fifth in the Mountain West in batting average, eighth in slugging and tied for third in triples … Ranked fifth in the nation in triples … Hit .423 in conference play with three triples, three home runs and 15 RBI … Finished third on the team in batting average, slugging, doubles and RBI … Racked up 16 multi-hit games and five multi-RBI games … Her 17-game hitting streak was the longest of the season for the Wolf Pack … Also reached base safely in 17-consecutive games … Hit for the cycle and finished 4-for-4 with a career-high six RBI in a 10-4 victory over San Diego State … Went 8-for-13 with four runs scored over the first five games of the season … Hit her first career home run in the bottom of the seventh against Wisconsin (Feb. 13) … Hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the eighth in a win over UConn … Recorded her first triple of the season and had a sacrifice fly in a win over Omaha … Went 5-for-10 with a triple, a double and two runs scored over three games against Boise State … Hit a solo homer in the bottom of the fifth to put the Pack ahead 4-0 in a win over Niagara … Crossed the plate six times and collected five hits over in the series win over UNLV … Named Mountain West Player of the Week after going 8-for-12 with two home runs and five RBI in the final series of the season at Utah State.

FRESHMAN (2015) – Hit .217, 18 runs and stole seven bases … Led the team with two triples … Tallied five multi-hit games … Went 1-for-3 with a run scored and stolen base in her collegiate game against Fordham … Posted two hits with an RBI, a triple and two runs scored the following game against Portland State … Crossed the plate twice as part of a 1-for-4 afternoon against No. 2 Oregon … Went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in the victory over No. 25 Cal State Fullerton … Scored twice for the third time in a win over Southern Illinois … Appeared in the final two games of the Utah State series and went 4-for-7 with a run scored and a stolen base.

HIGH SCHOOL – A 2014 graduate of Westlake High School in Austin, Texas...Plays travel ball with the Austin Storm, coached by Phil Koehler...A three year letter winner in softball at Westlake High School under coach Haley Gaddis...Named second team all-state after 2012 season...Awarded offensive MVP during 2012 season...Named District newcomer-of-the year in 2012...Named All-Central Texas in 2012...Led her team to a District Championship in both the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

PERSONAL – Daughter of Frank Gibson and Plonie McMarion … Hopes to major in exercise science/kinesiology and become an athletic trainer.
