SENIOR (2018) – Completed the year putting together arguably one of the greatest offensive seasons in program history, receiving first team All-Conference honors for the second time in her career as well an NFCA All-Region second team accolade … Set the Nevada single-season record with 15 home runs on the year … Received the first Mountain West Player of the Week award of her career after boasting a .727 batting average and driving in nine runs to go along with seven runs scored and three home runs in the Pack’s series win over New Mexico … Saw herself lead the MW in slugging percentage (.762), RBIs (56), home runs (15) and total bases (128) … Led Nevada with 19 multiple hit games and 15 multiple RBI games … Entered the month of April as one of just five players in the country to record the following stats: .425 batting average, .850 slugging percentage, .500 on-base percentage, 25 runs scored, 40 hits, 35 RBIs, 10 home runs and 80 total bases … Known as one of the best defensive players in the conference, having gone flawless in the field during Mountain West play with her 1.000 fielding percentage … Began conference play with a 13-game hitting streak as well as having gone without a strikeout in her first 40 at-bats … Ended the season on an absolute tear, stringing together an 11-game hitting streak, where she batted .462 with three home runs and an .821 slugging percentage … Guided Nevada’s 13-run outburst in the third inning against New Mexico, where she went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double with four RBIs in the third inning alone … Helped Nevada make back-to-back postseason appearances since the 2008-09 seasons … Letterwinner.
JUNIOR (2017) – Earned first team Mountain West All-Conference honors after becoming an offensive juggernaut for Nevada and one of the most feared hitters in the MW … A MW Academic All-Conference selection ... Named to the NFCA third-team All-West Region team … Led the conference with 61 RBIs on the season, which also set a new program record for most runs batted in during a year … Finished the year in the top 10 in the conference in multiple categories including: RBIs (61, 1st), slugging percentage (.627, 6th), runs scored (36, T9th), doubles (12, T8th), and walks (35, 4th) … Ranked second in the MW and first on the team with 13 home runs on the year, including nine in league play, which tied for the conference lead … Slugged .627 overall and .817 in conference play, which ranked second in the MW … Led the Pack with 19 multi-RBI games, including nine where she recorded three or more RBIs in a game … Ranked second on the team with 15 multi-hit games … Recorded a season-high, eight-game hitting streak where she batted .385 (10-for-26) with three home runs, 11 runs scored and 16 RBIs during that stretch … Tied her career-high with three hits against Utah Valley, launching two home runs including a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh … Launched a home run in all three games against UNLV, posting a 1.500 slugging percentage and was responsible for 11 of the Pack’s 16 runs scored in the series … Drew a career-high four walks in Nevada’s 14-inning win over Colorado State … Helped lead Nevada to the program’s first postseason berth since the 2009 season ... PRIOR TO NEVADA – Transferred from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill. where she played in the Missouri Valley Conference under coach Amy Hayes … As a freshman, she was named third-team NFCA All-Mideast Region and first-team All-MVC after leading the conference with 20 doubles … During her rookie season, she became the only player in MVC history to collect 30 runs, 55 hits, 20 doubles, 40 RBIs and 30 or more walks in a season … As a sophomore, she earned second-team All-MVC honors and was a preseason All-MVC selection … Hit .369 during her rookie season and .328 as a sophomore … Owns the second-best career slugging percentage in school history (.507) and her 28 career doubles are tied for ninth all-time.
HIGH SCHOOL – Owned a .421 average with eight home runs, 12 doubles, five triples and 39 RBI as a senior … Hit .410 as a junior … Named the Musketeers best offensive player both of her varsity seasons … Helped her prep team to a state semifinal appearance as a senior and back-to-back conference titles … Also lettered in volleyball and soccer.
PERSONAL – Daughter of Sheri and Tim Hansen … Has two siblings, older brother Chad and younger sister Jules … Chad played football at Cal and was drafted in the fourth round by the Jets in 2017 … Majoring in communications and minoring human development and family studies … Chose Nevada because of the campus and the softball program … Also recruited by Miami (Ohio), NC State, North Carolina and Kansas … Enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with family and friends in her free time.
