RENO, Nev. - Dylan LaBarbera and Zach Cochnauer were each named to Pro Football Network's (PFN) Preseason All-America Second Team, and a total of nine members of the Wolf Pack were named to the outlet's Preseason All-Mountain West Team Monday.

LaBarbera added another preseason honor to his resume. The senior EDGE, coming off of a breakout season in 2025, has been a consensus preseason All-Mountain West team selection in addition to being named to the preseason watch list of the Bronko Nagurski Trophy. Last season he emerged as one of the top defenders in the Mountain West, leading the conference and finishing tied for eighth in the country with 17.0 tackles-for-loss and sixth with 1.42 TFLs per game.

Cochnauer established himself as an anchor of The Union in 2025, holding down the right tackle spot while starting 11 games. He was also named to the preseason All-Mountain West Teams of Athlon Sports (First Team) and Phil Steele (Third Team).

McFadden boosts the Wolf Pack special teams with his return in 2026. His 19 field goals a season ago ranked eighth in Nevada's single-season records, and he was a perfect 20-for-20 on PAT attempts. He was also named to the Preseason All-Mountain West Team as named at July's football media days.

Walker, also named to July's Preseason All-Mountain West Team, made an immediate impact for the Wolf Pack defense as a freshman in 2025. The Round Rock, Texas native appeared in 11 games with two starts, making 24 tackles including one for loss. Walker quickly locked down a corner spot against opposing offenses, turning back challenges and establishing himself as one of the Mountain West's top returning defensive backs in 2026.

Jack Foster, named to the Outland Trophy Preseason Watch List in addition to July's Preseason All-Mountain West Team, started all 12 games last season and was named the team's Basalite Big Blocker Award winner by coaching staff.

Snoop Leota-Amaama and linebacker Jeremy Naborne-Owens were each named to PFN's Preseason All-Mountain West Second Team, while wide receiver Damien Morgan and defensive back Larry Turner-Gooden landed on the third team. Leota-Amaama appeared in nine games, making six starts at guard before suffering a season-ending injury, while Naborne-Owens spent the 2025 campaign at Colorado State where he made 36 tackles, 2.0 sacks and 4.0 tackles-for-loss over 12 appearances.

Turner-Gooden spent the past two seasons at San José State, appearing in 22 games making 37 tackles with an interception, a forced fumble and two passes defended. Last year, he started two of the 10 games in which he played, finishing with 28 tackles and a pick. Morgan, who played the last three seasons at Idaho State, had a breakout season in 2025, being named Big Sky Honorable Mention after making 53 catches for 607 yards and three touchdowns over 12 games.

Nevada opens the 2026 season with two-straight home contests, first hosting defending New Orleans Bowl champion Western Kentucky Saturday, September 5 at 7:30 p.m. before facing reigning FCS champion Montana State Saturday, September 12 at 7:30 p.m. The Wolf Pack opens Mountain West play Saturday, Sept. 26 hosting Air Force.
