The Pack dominate the Spartans with an 87-54 victory at home

RENO, Nev. - Nevada (14-5; 6-2 MW) follows up their win at Air Force by dominating San José State (6-13; 1-7 MW)from start to finish for an 87-54 win on Tuesday evening.

With Corey Camper Jr. leading the way, followed by four players in double figures, the Pack shot 51 percent from the field, 57 percent from beyond the arc, and 81 percent from the line as a team.

Camper Jr. recorded 19 points and three rebounds. The senior was followed by Kaleb Lowery, Tayshawn Comer, and Peyton White with 12 points apiece. This was Lowery's first game of the season in the double digits.

Once again, Nevada's bench came out strong as they outscored San José State, 34-6. The Pack also won the battle in the paint (32-20) and out-rebounded the Spartans (39-26) with Elijah Price leading the way with 10 boards.

The Pack continues to be efficient with the ball, recording only five turnovers for the game.

First half:
Nevada started off hot, shooting 47 percent from the field and 57 percent from the three-point line in the first half.

Camper Jr. led the half with 13 points (3-for-5 in three-pointers) and three rebounds.

The Pack had full control of the game, finishing the half with a 39-26 score.

Second half:
Nevada continued to stay hot and efficient, shooting 56 percent from the field, 57 percent from the three, and 88 percent from the line.

Nevada closed the game strong with an electric dunk by freshman Christopher Baudreau, finishing with an 87-54 win at Lawlor Events Center.

The Pack improved to a 14-5 record, including 6-2 in conference play.

Nevada will hit the road to Albuquerque, N.M., to face New Mexico on Saturday, January 24, at 5 p.m.
