Natalie Elias bunted on the following play, reaching on a misfire to first base by Jenkins, scoring Montelongo and reaching third on the error. A second error on the play allowed Elias to score. The Bulldogs capped the inning with a towering Taryn Irigoyen homer just inside the foul pole to take a 3-1 lead. The Pack loaded the bases in the bottom of the inning with only one out but stranded all three runners with a pair of infield popouts.
