ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Nevada Softball closed out its regular season slate with a 9-1 run-rule victory over New Mexico, marking the first three-game series sweep by the Pack this season. A four-homer performance by the Wolf Pack offense and a complete game win by Tess Bumiller fueled Nevada's 37th win of the season. Aaliyah Jenkins tallied six total bases, passing Megan Sweet for the most total bases in Wolf Pack history at 431.

Nevada got off to a hot start with the first three batters of the game all getting aboard with a hit and scoring to take a quick 3-0 lead. Madison Clark hit an infield single, then scored on a Jenkins double. Hannah Di Genova followed with a two-strike home run to right-center field. Lexi O'Gorman doubled two batters later, eventually scoring on a Maya Larsen sacrifice fly.

The Pack hit two homers in the third inning for the second game in a row. Haylee Engelbrecht hit an opposite-field homer down the right-field line, continuing her hot streak with three homers in two games. Haley Painter hit her second homer of the week, and third in the last five games.

New Mexico homered to lead off the third inning, scoring its only run of the game.

An error-ridden sixth inning for the Lobos allowed the Pack to score three times in the inning. Tatum Maytorena reached on a fielding error by the New Mexico shortstop, later scoring an errant throw by the shortstop. The next batter, Jenkins, hit her 16th homer of the year, now tied for the second most in a season in Wolf Pack history. The homer brought in Clark, putting the Pack up eight.

A one-two-three inning by Bumiller in the bottom of the sixth secured the run-rule win for the Pack. Bumiller pitched all six innings, her third complete game of the season. Bumiller only allowed four hits in the game, giving up just the lone run on the Lobos' homer.

The top three batters in the Pack lineup, Clark, Jenkins, and Di Genova, all had multi-hit games. Jenkins led the way with a double and a homer, driving in three runs. Di Genova's two-run homer was complemented by a single, and Clark beat out a pair of infield singles.

Nevada clinched a first-round bye with the win over the Lobos, guaranteeing a spot in the double-elimination stage of the Mountain West Championships. Nevada will wrap up the regular season looking to clinch a regular-season championship on Thursday with a win over Colorado State. The Pack wraps up the regular season next weekend, hosting Colorado State Thursday through Saturday. First pitch is set for 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, with a 10 a.m. finale on Senior Sunday.
