Daniel Foster Signs with Keilor Thunder for NBL1 2025 Season

RENO, Nev. - After five impactful seasons with the Nevada Wolf Pack, Australian guard Daniel Foster has officially signed with the Keilor Thunder for the upcoming 2025 NBL1 season. The Melbourne native will begin his professional career in Australia, bringing a wealth of experience, leadership, and versatility gained during his time in the NCAA.

Foster was a steady presence for the Wolf Pack from 2020 to 2025, culminating with the 2024-25 season—his fifth and final year in Reno. In his final collegiate season, he appeared in 18 games and averaged 22 minutes per contest, posting 3.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. Known for his defensive tenacity and unselfish style of play, the 6-foot-6 guard impacted both ends of the court throughout his college career.

One of Foster's most productive seasons came in 2023-24, where he played in all 34 contests and started four games. That year, he averaged 4.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and nearly a steal per game. He posted a career-high 14 points against Portland on November 18, 2023, showcasing his ability to rise to the occasion when needed.

Throughout his time with the Wolf Pack, Foster developed a reputation as a glue guy who made winning plays that didn't always appear on the stat sheet. His leadership and experience were instrumental in helping Nevada reach two NCAA Tournament appearances during his tenure, including back-to-back March Madness trips under head coach Steve Alford.

Foster's signing with the Keilor Thunder was announced on the club's official Instagram page, where they enthusiastically welcomed the Aussie returnee. As he transitions into the professional ranks, the Thunder are gaining a mature, high-IQ player with NCAA tournament experience, positional versatility, and a team-first mentality—traits that should make an immediate impact in the NBL1 competition.
