RENO, Nev. - Nevada Football added wide receiver
Joe Stimpson to its December signing class Thursday morning.
Stimpson is the 18th signee for the Wolf Pack and represents the seventh different state represented since the period opened Wednesday morning.
"Joe's another winner and high-character guy, fitting right in with our signing class. He's a versatile, explosive player and multi-sport athlete and we're excited that he's joined our program," said head coach
Jeff Choate.
Stimpson, a preseason all-state selection by SI.com ahead of this past fall, was named to the All-Metro League First Team for the second-straight season as a senior. That campaign followed a junior year in which he earned 6A all-state honorable mention, producing 1,810 all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns. Stimpson was also a standout on the hardwood for Jesuit, helping the basketball team to a 6A state title game appearance as a junior.
