RENO, Nev. - Wolf Pack defensive end
Dylan LaBarbera earned his first national honor, being selected to Pro Football Focus' All-Group of Six Team.
LaBarbera was one of seven selections from the Mountain West. Last week he was named to the All-Mountain West First Team, one of two members of the Wolf Pack defense to earn spots on the first and second teams.
The junior from Redding, California posted an All-America-caliber season in 2025, threatening both Nevada and Mountain West records with his performance on the field. LaBarbera finished the regular season (through games of November 29) with 17.0 tackles-for-loss and 1.42 TFLs per game, leading the Mountain West and ranking fifth in the nation in both categories. LaBarbera also led the Wolf Pack with 87 tackles and 6.5 sacks.
His contributions and impact were felt from start to finish in 2025. LaBarbera opened the campaign with two tackles-for-loss at No. 2/3 Penn State, and went on to post six games with multiple TFLs including a high of four against San Diego State. Only thrice this season did LaBarbera not reach seven tackles in a game, topping out with 12 tackles at Fresno State and recording three nine-tackle efforts. Behind his and others' play, the Wolf Pack nearly went the entire season without allowing a 100-yard rusher, that mark only being hit in the finale against UNLV.
