RENO, Nev. -Â Nevada Soccer returns to Mackay with the Strength of the Pack game on Thursday and Senior Day on Sunday. Nevada Volleyball has two road games this week against UNLV and San Diego State. Men's Golf travels to California for the Alister Mackenzie Invitational, starting Monday Oct. 7. Men's and Women's Tennis are both on the road for their respective Mountain West Fall Qualifiers.Â
VOLLEYBALLÂ
Nevada Volleyball returned home for their Mountain West Conference opener, splitting two thrilling matches at the Virginia Street Gym. The Wolf Pack secured a hard-fought victory over Wyoming in five sets before falling to Colorado State in four. These matches marked the first home games of the season for Nevada, and the Pack now stand at 1-1 in conference play and 8-6 overall. Â
 Next up, Nevada heads back on the road for a pair of conference matchups. They will take on UNLV in Las Vegas on Thursday, October 3 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a match against San Diego State on Saturday, October 5 at noon. Both matches will be key tests as Nevada looks to build momentum in Mountain West play.Â

Men's Golf
The Nevada Men's golf team returns to action this week for the Alister Mackenzie Invitational, hosted by Cal. The Pack will play 36 holes on Monday Oct. 7, and round out their event with 18 holes on Tuesday, Oct. 8. The Pack are coming off a tough beginning to the season but are hoping to find some form a little closer to home in Fairfax, Oct.7-8.Â
This is the Pack's first time playing this event since 2019. The Pack has played well in this event before, placing 5th in 2017, where they set the 7th best 54-hole score in program history. That year, the team made a strong run at Regionals, a performance they hope to replicate this year with a similar push toward postseason success. In the strong field this week are, UC Davis, Cal Poly, Saint Mary's, Santa Clara, San Diego and Cal among others.Â

WOMEN'S SOCCER
Conference play for Nevada Soccer began this past week. The Wolf Pack dropped matches to San Diego State and New Mexico. They will look to bounce back this week as the team returns home. Thursday, Nevada will take on Air Force at 7 PM, followed by another home match on Sunday at 1 PM, hosting Colorado College. These are key matches for the Wolf Pack as they look to get a conference win. Sunday is also Senior Day, where the nine seniors will be honored throughout the game.Â

MEN'S TENNIS
Nevada Men's Tennis heads to Las Vegas for the Mountain West Fall Qualifier, a new tournament which awards an automatic bid to the ITA Conference Masters tournament, held next month in San Diego. The tournament acts as a path to the NCAA Individual Championships, now held in the fall season.
The tournament begins Wednesday, October 2, running through October 5. The tournament features a 32-player singles draw and 16-pair doubles draw.
The Wolf Pack will send five singles and two doubles pairs. Youssef Kadiri and Rémy Trégourès, both finalists in the respective draws at the Aggie Invitation this past weekend, will look to continue their success in the path to San Diego. Joining Kadiri and Trégourèsis graduate students Lucas Hammond and Paul Theate, as well as sophomore Rayen Hermassi.
Hermassi, Hammond, and Théate were drawn against the men's emerging rivals, San Diego State, facing Eugenio Gonzalez, Mathieu Josserand, and Marc Kleber, respectively. Kadiri play the first in-state match up of the season, playing Roberto Hernandez of UNLV. Finally, Trégourèswill match up against Aram Noroozian.
Hammond and Kadiri will pair up again to face UNLV's Hernandez and Illia Maskymchuk. Additionally, Théate and Trégourèswill play against Gonzalez and Louis Chusseau of San Diego State.

WOMEN'S TENNIS

Nevada is sending three players for singles, as well a two doubles pairs. Petra Janigova will look to continue her success from Berkeley, following a runner-up performance in her collegiate debut. Additionally, Amahée Charrier and Silvia Costache will play singles for the Pack. Kennedy Robinson joins Janiogva once again to make up the second doubles pairing.
In singles, Charrier will take on San Diego State's Liisa Varul, while Janigova will play Zdena Safarova of Boise State and Costache matches up against Violette Borodina from Wyoming.
Both of Nevada's doubles teams will take on Aztecs. Janigova and Robinson will play Gloria Alogo Piqueras and Ninon Martinache, while Costache and Charrier will open the draw against Varul and Jo-Yee Chan.
