Reno, Nev.. - Nevada has come up short in the 64-69 loss against Utah State in Lawlor Events Center. This is the third game in a row where the Wolf Pack have scored 64 or fewer points in regulation. First Half
The first half was satisfying for the Wolf Pack and a great back-and-forth between both teams. The Aggies managed to bring their lead to as much as seven with 9:45 left in the 1st half.
Nevada managed to fight back with big shots from deep to tie and eventually took the lead with a pull-up jumper by Kobe Sanders. Nevada ended the half up 33-28 over the Aggies while 43.33 percent from the field and 50 percent from three on eight attempts.
Second Half
Nevada started the new half slow, which allowed the Aggies to take the lead with 13 minutes left of play in regulation. Nevada made multiple runs to get back into the gain and take the lead.
However, it was not enough as the Aggies ended the second half, shooting 60.87 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from three. In contrast, Nevada ended the second half shooting 40 percent from the field and shooting a notable 20 percent from the three on 15 attempts. Nevada ended the game by falling 64-69 to the Utah State Aggies at home.
