RENO, Nev. - The Nevada Men's Basketball program and Head Coach Steve Alford have announced the signing of Peyton White, a 6-6, 220-pound guard, out of Crespi High School in Encino, California.
"Peyton is an athletic and physical guard who knows how to play. He has got a good understanding of making plays that impact winning. He is another player on our team, the son of a great coach, Russell White. Peyton is also an outstanding student and knows the importance of being a student-athlete."
In his first three prep seasons, White has averaged 13.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game.
White was named a first-team All-Mission League and second-team All-CIF honoree last season. He also played in the AAU circuit for the BTI Basketball Club.
White is the first known commitment in Nevada's 2025 recruiting class. Nevada Basketball continues to build momentum and add depth to its roster ahead of the 2025-26 season, with seven players on the 2024-25 roster in their final year of eligibility.
