FRESNO, Calif. - Nevada dropped the final game of the series against the Fresno State Bulldogs, 5-1, Sunday afternoon.
The Bulldogs jumped on the scoreboard early with a five-run lead in the bottom of the first.
Hailey Prahm and Chelie Senini singled back-to-back to get the Pack on bases with no outs in the top of the third. Gabby Herrera grounded out to the second base to push Prahm across home plate for a run on the board.
Senini led the team in hits with two, followed by Herrera, Charli Hawkins, Haylee Engelbrecht, and Prahm with a single hit each.
Blake Craft started in the circle for the Pack for three innings played. Craft gave up three hits, five runs, and three walks before Carley Brown stepped in to lead the defense. Brown closed the game with three hits allowed and one strikeout.
