LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Nevada concludes the weekend on a loss on Sunday morning. The Pack was edged by LMU 10-2 on the last day of the UCLA tournament.

Freshman Ellie Garcia started the game for the Pack. Garcia gave up five runs (three earned) on two hits. Sophomore Blake Craft came in to relief Garcia in the second inning. Craft gave up six hits, five runs while striking out one before sophomore Tyra Clary come in the circle to close the game. Clary allowed the Lions to record one hit.

The Pack offense recorded a total of ten hits, led by sophomores Charli McLendon and Mia Misasi recorded one RBI each. Sophomore Chelie Senini, had two hits and one run, while freshman Paris Schwalbe and senior Jessica Sellers, both tallied two hits each.

HOW IT HAPPENED

LMU jumped to an early 5-0 lead in the first inning.

The Pack scored a run before LMU add two more runs in the fifth inning.

Nevada came back, adding one more run to the board before LMU added three more runs to edge Nevada 10-2.

Following the UCLA tournament, the Pack will hit the road to Melissa, Texas to play at the North Texas tournament on Feb. 18-20. Nevada will face Abilene Christian and Montana twice, and the host team North Texas.
