Mountain West releases 2022 predicted order of finish

RENO, Nev. - The Mountain West announced the 2022 women's basketball predicted order of finish on Wednesday. 

Nevada was predicted to finish sixth in the conference, accumulating 142 points in voting by the Mountain West coaches. 

Defending Mountain West champions UNLV were predicted to finish first in the conference, receiving 26 first place votes. New Mexico, who received the final two first place votes, was predicted to finish second in the conference. 

The Pack collected 20 wins in the 2021-22 season, the second-most victories in Nevada women's basketball history. After finishing third in the Mountain West Conference, Nevada was invited to the WBI for the second time under head coach Amanda Levens. Nevada returns nine players in 2022-23, including Mountain West All-Defensive Team selection and rising junior Alyssa Jimenez along with Mountain West All-Freshman Team guard Audrey Roden.
 
Nevada will tip off the year with a pair of exhibition games at the Lawlor Events Center, starting on Friday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. against Fresno Pacific. The game against Fresno Pacific is part of a 2-for-1 ticket special, where ticket holders will receive admission to both the women's and men's games on Oct. 21. 
 
The second and final exhibition game at the Lawlor Events Center will take place on Sunday, Oct. 30 against Sonoma State at 1 p.m. Fans are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes for the Sonoma State game and are invited for trick or treating with the team following the game.
 
Single game tickets for the exhibition games start at just $5. 
 
Season tickets for Nevada women's basketball are now on sale starting at $65. Season tickets for youth (8th grade and under) start at just $25 while the Family Four Pack (two adults, two youth) begins at $37.50 per person. Students receive free admission with their Wolf Card. All weekend games not a part of the Nugget Classic will be followed by a free post-game clinic for eighth grade and under students
