Nevada falls in 10 innings to Pacifc

STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of Nevada softball team (11-8) fell in 10 innings, 3-2, to the University of the Pacific (9-9-1).

Nevada threw Kendall Fritz, Julia Jensen and Blake Craft. Craft (6-4) picked up the loss in the circle in five innings of work, giving up one run on four hits and striking out two. Fritz started in the circle for the Pack, giving up one hit and striking out one in two innings. Jensen went two innings, giving up one run on three hits and striking out two.

Nevada was paced offensively by Chelie Senini, Sadaria McAlister and Lauren Gutierrez and Kallahan Hunter, who each tallied one hit. McAlister also added two stolen bases and two runs. Gutierrez tallied Nevada's lone RBI.

UP NEXT
Nevada travels to San Jose State on March 27-28 for a three-game series against the Spartans.
