RENO, Nev. – The Nevada football team will hold the second edition of the Grit Run, to benefit the fight against Cystic Fibrosis, on Saturday, April 25th prior to the annual Silver and Blue Spring Game.
The Grit Run is a 5K run or walk hosted by the Wolf Pack football program. Please join us and participate in this annual event to help raise funds for those with Cystic Fibrosis, a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time.
The cost for the Grit Run is just $35 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger. Each participant will receive a Grit Run t-shirt and a post-race tailgate with food, bounce houses for children and more.
The run starts at 10:30 a.m. and the 5K course winds through the picturesque University of Nevada campus, starting and finishing around Mackay Stadium.
Following the Grit Run will be the Wolf Pack's annual Silver and Blue Spring Game at noon, with a free youth clinic to follow.
Parking is available for free at the West Stadium Parking Complex.
