Zeller named MVP of Premier League

RENO, Nev. – Former Wolf Pack standout Teige Morrell (Zeller) was recently named the Most Valuable Player in the Premier League, a semi-professional basketball league in South Australia.
 
Morrell played for the Woodville Warriors in her first season in the league and earned MVP honors after averaging 22 points and 13 rebounds per game. She was also named to the Premier League All-Star Five, presented to the top five players in the league.
 
Morrell will be suiting up for a new team in her second season after recently signing with the Southern Tigers Basketball Association. The Southern Tigers are also a member of the Premier League in Australia. Additionally her husband, David, will coach the Southern Tigers men's team in the upcoming season.
 
Morell posted an incredible senior season in 2017-18 for the Wolf Pack, culminating in her first All-Mountain West selection. She ranked 11th in the Mountain West at 14.2 points per game, was third in rebounding at 8.6 rebounds per contest and was third in field goal percentage shooting 51.4 percent. Morell produced a career-high 12 double-doubles, six 20-point games and scored in double figures in 31 of the team's 36 games. She concluded her Wolf Pack career as just the sixth player in program history to accumulate over 900 points and 700 rebounds.
