RENO, Nev. – On Saturday night, Nevada (25-22, 11-15 MW) dropped its game and series against Fresno State (29-13-1, 14-7-1 MW) by a score of 8-1.

The Wolf Pack will celebrate Senior Day tomorrow at 12:40 p.m., with first pitch slated for 1 p.m. Tickets are available online or by calling (775) 348-PACK.

Nevada mustered three hits tonight, with the lone RBI coming from a sacrifice fly in the first inning by Tyler Bosetti. The Bulldogs plated three of their four runs in the first thanks to a three-run blast from Emilio Nogales.

The Pack's only extra-base hit of the day came from the bat of Nick Seamons, who smacked a leadoff double in the fifth inning to give Nevada its best scoring change of the day since the first. Otis Statum Jr. recorded Nevada's third and final hit of the night with a single in the same frame, but nobody was brought home.

Owen Sharts suffered the loss after pitching 5.2 innings with three strikeouts. Bradley Bonnenfant pitched the next three frames, striking out three Bulldogs but allowing two runs. Josh Congress relieved Bonnenfant in the ninth, recording the final out using just two pitches.
