RENO, Nev. – Seven members of the University of Nevada rifle team will compete in the three day Winter Air Gun National Team Trials to be held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. starting on Friday. The event is one of the tryouts to earn a spot on the USA National Team.
"Winter air gun is one of the best opportunities to shoot under stressful match conditions," head coach
Fred Harvey said. "There is no better way to get really great trigger time and show what can be done."
The seven shooters include three men in senior
Mitchell Van Patten, junior
Eli Larimer, and freshman
Tio Brody. The Wolf Pack women will be represented by sophomores Bri Citrigno and
Sara Benesh along with a pair of freshmen in
Mirette Ochsner and
Kendra Kissell.
