In the high jump, Wadden claimed victory yet again. Her mark of five feet and eight inches (1.73m) kept her ahead of the heptathlon group. After clearing the mark, she gave one attempt at 5 feet and 10 inches (1.79m) before bowing out the victor. Dickey was able to log her second personal record of the day with her best jump of 5 feet and 2.25 inches (1.58m).
Dickey made it three in a row on her personal records at the shot put ring. Her throw of 31 feet and 4.5 inches (9.56m) was the best of her career, and kept her in contention to score.
Dickey stayed perfect on the day when it came to personal records, finishing the 200m dash in 26.43. Wadden crossed the finish line with a time of 25.29.
