LOS ANGELES
- Senior Franziska Kindt and sophomore Lindsey Adams both put on strong showings Saturday at the UCLA Legends of Track & Field meet to begin the month of April.

Kindt, who came to Nevada from Germany for her senior year, was paced well in her 400 meter hurdle race. Taking second, she was pushed the whole race through, crossing the finish line in 1:01.23. Not only did the time mark a personal record, but also moved her up a spot in the Nevada all-time list to sixth.

In the 1500m, Adams and freshman Stefanie Ortega got out front immediately, keeping the pace of the group around the track. Sarah Halloway from UCLA then made things interesting, hopping out front. As the trio entered the final lap, Adams whipped around the group and began quickly pulling away to finish in 4:35.08. Ortega then put her boosters on with 200 meters to go for a second place finish, battling the host runner down the stretch and crossing the finish line in 4:39.56.

Recording her second personal record of the day, Adams ran the 800 meter in 2:15.02. She finished sixth in a strong field of runners, and battled her way from the back of the group to her final place across the last lap. She was joined by teammate and junior Meagan Wood, who also recorded a personal record at 2:16.41.

The Wolf Pack will take the weekend off before heading back down to Southern California from April 13-15 for a myriad of meets, including the Mt. Sac Relays.
