PACK SET FOR UTAH STATE IN MOUNTAIN WEST CHAMPIONSHIPS QUARTERFINALS
? Playing its first game of the tournament after earning a bye, the Nevada Wolf Pack (25-6) will face the Utah State Aggies (14-16) Thursday at noon on CBS Sports Network.
? The Aggies advanced to the quarterfinals after a 90-64 drubbing of San José State in the first round. The Pack split with the Aggies this season, losing 74-57 on the road and winning 77-66 at home.
? The Pack is entering the tournament on a six game win streak, its second longest of the year. Nevada has won the games by an average of 17 points.
? After scoring 29 points against Colorado State, sophomore Cameron Oliver is just one point short of 1,000 in his career, becoming the ninth player to hit 1,000 in his first two years with the Pack (27th overall).
? The Pack is riding a hot streak into the Mountain West Tournament, having won six straight games to close out conference play and claim the No. 1 seed.
? For the first time since 1993, three Wolf Pack players recorded a double-double in the same game (CSU) in sophomores Cameron Oliver and Jordan Caroline and senior Marcus Marshall.
