Season ticket prices start at $179 and youth tickets start as low as $79. More season tickets have already been sold for the 2016-17 season than all last year when the Pack won 24 games.
There are a limited number of seats available in the lower bowl behind the basket nearest the Nevada bench on the west end of the arena. To purchase lower bowl or center concourse tickets you will need to speak with a representative as an online purchase is not an option.
Nevada is coming an outstanding season in head coach Eric Musselman's first season leading the Wolf Pack. The Pack became the first team in Nevada and Mountain West history to win a postseason tournament, capturing the College Basketball Invitational with a thrilling overtime victory over Morehead State in front of more than 9,000 fans at Lawlor Events Center. The team posted a 24-14 record, went 16-3 at Lawlor and won a MW Tournament game for the first time.
The Pack returns a solid nucleus led by sophomore forward Cameron Oliver who averaged nearly a double-double last season, scoring 13.4 points and grabbing 9.1 rebounds per game. He set a Wolf Pack record and MW freshman mark with 99 blocks. He earned All-MW second team and Freshman of the Year honors from the media while the coaches put him on their third team and defensive team.
Guard D.J Fenner returns for his senior season after averaging 13.7 and 4.6 rebounds per game last season. Fenner appeared in all 38 games and started 36. Junior forward Elijah Foster started 32 games as a sophomore and averaged 2.8 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Guard Lindsey Drew is back after starting 36 games as a freshman when he averaged 5.4 points and set a school freshman record with 56 steals.
Three transfers Marcus Marshall, Leland King II and Jordan Caroline who sat out last season will make and impact this season. A pair of highly recruited freshman that are expected contribute in their first year in the program are Devearl Ramsey and Josh Hall. Six walk-ons complete the active roster for this season.
Nevada will host 14 regular season games and one exhibition contest this year. San Francisco State is the exhibition game set for Nov. 4. The first regular season home game is set for Nov. 14 when Loyola Marymount comes to Lawlor.
The next two opponents are NCAA Tournament teams Oregon State and Iona on Nov. 18 and 20. OSU defeated the Pack last season and went on to post a 19-13 record. Iona won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament to advance to the NCAA Tournament. The Gaels posted a 22-11 record.
Longtime Wolf Pack rival Pacific closes out the November home schedule on Nov. 29. The Tigers and Wolf Pack played a double overtime game in Stockton, Calif. last season where Nevada prevailed 85-82.
The final nonconference home game is with College Insider Tournament runner-up UC Irvine on Dec. 14. The Anteaters went 28-10 last season and finished with an RPI of 65.
The nine-game home MW slate includes games with intrastate rival UNLV on Feb. 8, the defending regular season champion San Diego State Aztecs on Jan. 4 and the MW Tournament and the conference's NCAA Tournament representative Fresno State Bulldogs on Jan. 21.
Also scheduled to make appearances at Lawlor this season is San José State, Air Force, New Mexico, Utah State, Boise State and Colorado State. SJSU is the MW opener on Dec. 28. The AFA is in Reno on Jan. 18 and UNM closes out the month on Jan. 28.
USU and BSU are back-to-back on Feb. 18 and 22. The final home game with Colorado State in Senior Day, Mar. 4.
