University of Nevada alum Ramon Sessions has signed a two-year free agent contract with the Charlotte. It will be his second stint with Charlotte having played for the team in 2012-13 and part of the 2013-14 season.
Sessions played three seasons for the Wolf Pack from 2004-07. He appeared in the NCAA tournament three times while playing for the Pack, reaching the tournament's second round in 2006 and 2007.
As a junior he averaged a career high 12.3 points and 4.7 assists per game for the Wolf Pack. In 97 career games he scored 850 points, dished out 478 assists and grabbed 410 rebounds.
A second round selection of the Milwaukee Bucks in 2007, the 2016-17 season will his 10th in the NBA. In his 10 years he has played for Minnesota, Cleveland, Charlotte, Sacramento, Washington and the Los Angeles Lakers.
In 613 career NBA games he has scored 6,693 points, recorded 2,601 assists and grabbed 1,729 rebounds. His career averages are 10.9 points, 4.2 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game.
