RENO, Nev. - The Nevada softball program has announced the dates for its 2016 summer camps. Head coach Matt Meuchel and his staff offer three different camps for girls of all ages and competition levels.
The Elite Camp will take place from June 14-16 while the Summer and Introductory Camps will run from June 21-23. For more information on the camps, click on the link above.
All three camps will be run by Coach Meuchel and his staff, who led the Wolf Pack to a tie for third place in the Mountain West this season with a 32-15 overall record and a 10-10 mark in conference play. Nevada finished 2016 with the fewest losses in program history and the most victories since 2009 when the Wolf Pack reached NCAA Regionals for the third time.
The Elite Camp will focus primarily on improving each participant's skills in individual and team situations. A large portion of the camp will include live games. Elite campers will have the opportunity to hone and showcase their skills with Coach Meuchel, his staff and additional college coaches.
The Summer Camp is a three-day camp that offers young players the opportunity to learn, practice and improve overall softball skills. Various competitions and games will be held during the camp. Each camper will receive one-on-one time with Coach Matt Meuchel, his staff and current and former Wolf Pack softball players.
The Introductory Camp is a three-day camp that offers beginning/novice players the opportunity to learn, practice and improve overall softball skills.
