The Wolf Pack rallied with three runs in its half of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, sophomore Jordan Pearce singled up the middle to drive in Nevada's first run. Sophomore Grant Fennell then hit an infield grounder before a throwing error allowed sophomores TJ Friedl and Cole Krzmarzick to score on the play.

The Pack loaded the bases on one out before an Aztec throwing error proved costly. Pearce grounded up the middle and SDSU attempted to turn a game-ending double play, but the throw to first sailed high and allowed Greager and Friedl to score and force extra innings.
The game was suspended in the top of the 10th inning as Nevada has two outs with one San Diego State runner at second base.
Brooks (3-5), junior Miles Mastrobuoni (2-5) and Krzmarzick (2-3) led Nevada at the plate while the Wolf Pack scored six runs - three of them unearned - on 12 hits. Nevada has used seven pitchers in the contest.
