RENO, Nev. - The Nevada baseball team will host a banner ceremony in honor of the first Mountain West Championship in school history on Sunday at Peccole Park prior to its 1 p.m. PT first pitch against New Mexico.
The ceremony - which will honor the Wolf Pack's 2015 MW regular season title - will begin approximately 10 minutes prior to first pitch on Sunday. Last season, Nevada made history with a 22-7 conference record for its fourth all-time conference title and also posted its second-winningest season in program history with 41 wins.
Members of last year's championship team will be presented with a 2015 Mountain West championship banner, which will be hung along the right field line.
The Wolf Pack hosts New Mexico for a three-game series, beginning today with first pitch at 4 p.m. at Peccole Park. Saturday and Sunday's games will begin at 1 p.m.
