RENO, Nev. - Wednesday is Military Appreciation Night when the University of Nevada men's basketball team hosts Air Force at 7 p.m. Tickets are just $5 for all military at the door when they present their military ID.
You have just five opportunities this season to see first-year head coach Eric Musselman and team at Lawlor Events Center. The Wolf Pack have won four more games than all last season and equaled team's Mountain West win total of five games from a year ago.
The Pack are among the most improved teams in the country and play a fast paced style on offense and defense. Nevada averages over 75 points per game and plays hard-nosed, in your face defense.
Watch as senior guard Marqueze Coleman seeks to become just the 25th player in 102 years of Wolf Pack basketball to score 1,000 points in a career. Coleman heads into the Pack's game at Colorado State this weekend with 960 points.
Freshman Cameron Oliver provides excitement with his blocks and high flying dunks. Oliver tops the MW and ranks 22nd nationally averaging 2.5 blocks per night.
Nevada shares the ball as four players average double figures led by Coleman's 17.9 points per game, that ranks among the leaders in the MW. Junior D.J. Fenner is tossing in 12.6 points per game. Oliver and senior Tyron Criswell each score 11.2 points per game.
