Nevada seeks to even season series with Fresno State
• Nevada (14-9, 6-5 MW) hosts Fresno State (16-8, 7-4 MW) on Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Have a Heart Game. All fans will receive a free rally towel.
• Nevada is seeking to avenge the largest MW loss of the season as the Bulldogs defeated the Wolf Pack 85-63 in Fresno back on Jan. 6.
• The Pack is 8-2 at home with losses coming to MW leading SDSU and Boise State.
• Nevada's eight victories at Lawlor is one more than the team has last season at home.
STATS OF NOTE
• Senior Marqueze Coleman has scored 979 points in his career and is looking to become the 25th player in 102 years of Pack basketball to score 1,000 points.
• Nevada is tied for 12th, as the most improved team in NCAA I.
• Cameron Oliver tops the MW and is 21st in NCAA I blocking 2.5 shots per game.
• The Pack leads the MW and is fourth in the country averaging 6.1 blocks per game.
• Sophomore guard Eric Cooper, Jr. has scored in double figures in the last five road games and 15 on the season.

TEAM NOTES
• Nevada's 14 wins is five more than the nine the team had last season when the squad posted a 9-22 mark.
• The Wolf Pack's six Mountain West victories is more than the five all last season and the second most since joining the conference in 2012-13.
• The Pack is 8-2 at Lawlor Events Center this season and went 7-8 each of the last two seasons at LEC.
• Nevada started its 11th different lineup at home against Air Force on Wednesday.
• The Wolf Pack's 89-84 victory at Utah State was just the fourth in 22 games played in Logan.
• Nevada is 6-3 in games decided by five points or less.
• Nevada is tied for the 12th best improved team over last season
• The fifth-largest crowd at Lawlor Events Center (11,341) saw the Wolf Pack top UNLV 65-63 on Jan. 23, the largest crowd since 11,462 fans packed into the arena on March 3, 2007 against New Mexico State.
• Nevada's 14-9 record is its best overall record after 23 games since joining the Mountain West in 2012-13.
• Nevada tops the MW in blocks per game (6.1), defensive rebounds per game (27.91) and total rebounds per game (40.83 rpg). The Pack is second in field goal percentage defense (39.3), free throw % (73.1), offensive rebounds per game (13.05), and 3-point field goal percentage defense (31.5).
• Nevada is fourth in the country with 6.1 blocks per game and 10th with 140 total blocks. The Pack had a season-high 11 blocks at Oregon State.
• The Wolf Pack is only one of two teams in the Mountain West, UNLV being the other, that ranks in the top three in blocked shots (6.1 bpg), steals (7.5 spg) and field goal percentage defense (39.3%)
• The Wolf Pack has had four or more players score in doubles-figures 11 times this season. A season-best seven players scored in double figures against Fresno Pacific.
• All 89 points at Utah State were scored by the five players that reached double figures; D.J. Fenner (21 pts), Marqueze Coleman (20), Tyron Criswell (19 pts), Cameron Oliver (16 pts) and Eric Cooper, Jr. (13 pts).
• Nevada has four players averaging double figures led by senior Marqueze Coleman's 17.1 points per game. D.J. Fenner (12.5 ppg), Cameron Oliver (11 ppg) and Tyron Criswell (11 ppg) round out the double-figure scorers. The four players combine to score 68 percent of the Pack's points (1145-of-1680) and average 52 points per game. Guard Eric Cooper, Jr. is less than a point shy of double figures averaging 9.9 points per game.
• In 15 games this season, the Pack's bench has outscored the opponent's. Against Holy Names the bench scored 73 points and the Hawks totaled just 57. Nevada's bench totaled 62 points in the Fresno Pacific victory.
• Nevada's 119 points in the victory over Fresno Pacific is the most for the Wolf Pack since scoring 120 in a win over Loyola Marymount on Nov. 29, 1991 at Lawlor Events Center.
• The Pack set a new program record with 73 points in the second half against Fresno Pacific. It's the most since scoring 71 in the second half against Northwestern State on Dec. 19, 1991.
COACH MUSSELMAN NOTES
• Musselman has coached against two former players this season that are now head coaches; Wayne Tinkle at Oregon State and Craig Neal at New Mexico. Both played for Musselman in the CBA for the Rapid City Thrillers.
• After coaching over 900 games at the professional level first-year head coach Eric Musselman won his first as a college head coach when the Wolf Pack defeated Coastal Carolina 73-56 to begin the season.
• Musselman became the fifth Wolf Pack head coach to win his season-opener since Nevada moved to NCAA Division I when the Pack defeated Coastal Carolina 73-56 to begin the season.
• Musselman tied the Nevada record for the best start by a first-year Nevada head coach after five games in the NCAA I era when he led the Wolf Pack to a 4-1 start.
Marqueze Coleman NOTES
• Senior Marqueze Coleman has scored 979 career points and is seeking to become the 25th player in school history to score 1,000 points in 102 years of basketball at Nevada.
• Coleman's 20 free throw attempts in the UNLV game tied the school record and is tied for the third most in MW history in a conference game. The school record attempts is tied with three others, with the last one being AJ West against San Jose State last season. He made 15 which tied his career high set earlier this season at Hawai`i.
• Ten times this season Coleman has scored 20 or more points in a game, which includes two 30 plus point games. In six-of-11 MW games he has scored 20 or more points.
• Coleman's 142 made free throws ranks 19th and his 185 free throws attempted ranks 15th in the nation. He is shooting 76.8 percent from the charity stripe and went to the free throw line 10 or more times in the first four games of the season and eight times on the year. Coleman averages 6.2 made free throws on eight attempts per game.
• Has set career season highs in points (394), free throws made (142), 3-pointers made (18), rebounds (101) and field goals made (117).
• In conference play, Coleman leads the MW with 4.2 assists per game.
• Coleman has had seven games this season where he has totaled five or more assists. His career-high 11 in the HNU game is the high in the MW this season.
• This season, Coleman scores 66 percent of his points (260-of-394) after halftime.
• Coleman's 17.1 points per game this season is nearly 10 more points than his career average of 8.8.
• Coleman set a career-high with eight rebounds in the victory at Air Force.
• Coleman scored 22 or more points in each of the Pack's first three MW games. His 17.1 points on the season is fifth in the MW and 17.3 points per game in conference play is sixth.
• Coleman produced back-to-back 30 plus point games with 34 at Hawai`i and 31 at Pacific.
Cameron Oliver NOTES
• Freshman Cameron Oliver leads the MW averaging 2.5 blocks per game. Nationally he ranks 21st in blocks per game and 18th with 57 total blocks. At Oregon State he blocked a season-best five shots.
• Oliver has blocked at least one shot in 22-of-23 games and has tallied two or more swats in 16 contests this season. The UNLV game is the only time he did not block a shot.
• Fifth in the MW averaging 7.5 rebounds per game and grabbing 2.6 offensive boards per game.
• Oliver has three double-doubles this season that all came in wins; vs. Santa Clara (11 pts, 10 rebs), at Air Force (12 pts, 12 rebs) and at Utah State (16 pts, 10 rebs).
• Has three other double figure rebound games; 13 vs. CCU, 12 at OSU and 10 vs. AF.
Tyron Criswell NOTES
• Senior Tyron Criswell is 17th in the Mountain West averaging 5.9 rebounds per game.
• Criswell has registered three double-doubles this season in Wolf Pack victories; vs. Drake (10 pts, 12 rebs), at Wyoming (19 pts, 10 rebs), and vs. UNLV (10 pts, 12 rebs). His rebound totals in the Drake and Wyoming contests were game highs.
• Two of the double-doubles came in back-to-back games at Wyoming and vs. UNLV.
• In three consecutive road games he scored 19 points at Air Force, Wyoming and Utah State.
D.J. Fenner NOTES
• Junior D.J. Fenner currently ranks 16th in the MW averaging 12.5 points per game.
• Came off the bench for the second time this season against AF on Wednesday and scored a game-high 18 points, 14 in the second half.
• Set career highs in points (288), rebounds (112), field goals (100) and 3-pointers (36). The 36 made 3-pointers is nearly triple the 13 he made last season after making none his freshman year.
• Scored a game-high 21 points at Utah State, 15 in the second half. It was his third career 20 plus point game with the others being 24 at Pacific last season and 24 at Oregon State this year.
• Fenner is second on the team shooting 33 percent from 3-point land and nailed two big 3's down the stretch in the win at Wyoming on Jan. 20.
• Fenner's 12.5 points per game is 5.2 more than his career average of 7.3 per outing.
• His game-high 24 points at Oregon State tied his career high set last season at Pacific.
ERIC COOPER, Jr. NOTES
• Eric Cooper, Jr. has scored in double figures in the Pack's last five road games; at Fresno State (10 pts), Air Force (16 pts), Wyoming (13 pts), Utah State (13 pts) and Colorado State (14 pts).
• Led the team with 14 points at Colorado State. Scored in double figures in seven of the last nine games.
• Tied his career and season high with four made 3-pointers at CSU.
• Cooper has made a 3-pointer in 19-of-23 games this season and three or more in nine games.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
• Elijah Foster reached double figures for the first time scoring 11 points in the AF win on Wednesday.
• Kaileb Rodriguez made his second start of the season and 11th of his career at CSU. Rodriguez scored a season-high five points against the Rams.
