In front of a record crowd of 450 people, the Nevada men's basketball team unveiled new script white jerseys at Wednesday night's Starting 5 preseason dinner.

The new jerseys feature a script Pack in silver on the front with blue numbering on the front and back outlined in silver. Where a player's last name would typically be is a script Nevada in silver to compliment the blue script Nevada on the side of the shorts.

"We really like the idea of the just the Pack," said head coach Eric Musselman at the podium of the dinner. "So many of our fans refer to us as that, and the script really throws the jerseys back and has a nice traditional look."

The Nevada on the back also carries a significance.

"We really push with our guys that we need to be one," Musselman said. "That's why we replaced the name with Nevada. This is one team."

The annual dinner saw its largest crowd ever and was more than twice the size of the 2015 preseason gathering. The 2016-17 team was also introduced at the event.
