RENO, Nev. - The Nevada Wolf Pack women's cross country team will get their second taste of action at the Sundodger Invitational Saturday morning in Seattle, Wash.
The race, a 6000 meter run, is just the second chance for the Wolf Pack to compete as a team this season. Senior Emily Myers (20:33) currently holds the school's 6K record, while sophomore Alaina Anderson (12th, 22:01) will have a chance to break into the top-10 as she sees her first action of the season after missing the Nature's Bakery Nevada Twilight Classic on Sept. 4.
Nevada will be competing against a mixed-conference field, including Mountain West opponent Fresno State as well as Pacific-12 members Oregon State, Washington State and Washington.
Including the Sundodger Invitational, Nevada has just three more races until the Mountain West Championships on Oct. 30, held in Reno at Montreux Golf Course.
