RENO, Nev. - University of Nevada head men's basketball coach Eric Musselman has announced that forward Cameron Oliver will play for the Wolf Pack this season. Oliver is a 6-8, 225-pound forward from Sacramento.

"Our coaching staff is very excited to announce the addition of Cameron Oliver," Musselman said. "Cameron has superior athleticism and ability to be a force at the rim on both ends of the floor. He is a Sacramento / Bay area product and his family is excited to be within driving distance to watch him play. Cam and Linsdey Drew help solidify our recruiting class by giving us two former Pac 12 commits in our freshmen class."

Oliver originally signed with Oregon State after playing his senior year at Sacramento's Grant High School but chose not to attend after the Beavers made a coaching change. He did not play last season giving him four years to play for the Wolf Pack.

An ACL injury forced him to miss his junior year but he returned to play 11 games his senior season. He averaged 21.5 points and 10 rebounds in those 11 outings for the Pacers. Oliver helped GHS to a 27-7 overall record and 9-1 mark in league play.

The Sacramento Bee named him to their All-Metro team following his senior season. MaxPreps selected him to their first-team Division II All-State team and All-Northern California second team following as a senior.
