Thursday Results AUSTIN, Texas -- The NCAA Preliminary rounds got underway this afternoon for the west region from Mike A. Myers Stadium on the campus of the University of Texas with one Nevada track & field student-athlete competing.
Freshman
Katherine Surin ran a 55.10 in the 400m dash and finished seventh in her heat. The top three from each heat advance to tomorrow's quarterfinals, plus the top-six times after that. Ashley Spencer from Texas ran the top-time in the field at 52.09 seconds.
Nevada continues preliminary rounds tomorrow with three competitors taking the track.
