Game Notes (Games 42-46) 
RENO, Nev. - The 22nd-ranked Nevada baseball team will return to Peccole Park for the first time in 18 days on Friday, April 24, opening a three-game series against San José State. The Wolf Pack (31-10, 16-5) will play its next five games at home, hosting the Spartans from April 24-26 before a two-game home series with Saint Mary's, April 28-29.
First pitch times between the Wolf Pack and Spartans (10-31, 3-15) are set for 6 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. PT Sunday. The #PopulatePeccole game on Sunday is sold out.
Nevada took two games at San José State earlier this year to win the series. After losing game one in a walk-off setback, Nevada responded with a season-high 22 runs and 21 hits in game two before clinching the series. The Spartans lead the series history with the Pack, 79-72, while Nevada is 14-4 in the last 18 meetings dating back to 2011. The Spartans currently rank last in the MW in both team batting average and team ERA.
Nevada will host Saint Mary's on Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 29 with first pitch times set for 6 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Peccole. The Gaels are 21-18 overall and will host a three-game series with San Diego before traveling to Reno. The Pack holds a 58-57-1 edge in the series history with the Gaels. Nevada is 6-4 in its last 10 meetings with Saint Mary's dating back to 2008.

LEADING OFF
· Head coach Jay Johnson is one win away from his 100th as a collegiate head coach. Johnson has 62 wins at Nevada (2014-15) and 37 with Point Loma Nazarene (2005).
· The Wolf Pack are currently ranked in four polls, while Nevada has the Mountain West's top RPI (46).
· Nevada will be playing at Peccole Park for the first time in 18 days after an eight-game road swing. The Wolf Pack is 17-2 at Peccole this season, boasting the eighth-best home win percentage in the nation.
· Saturday's first pitch time against the Spartans has been moved to 2 p.m. to accommodate fans from the Silver and Blue Spring Game, while Sunday's #PopulatePeccole game is sold out.
· With his next save, junior RHP Adam Whitt will set the Nevada program record for saves in a season with 14.
· Senior Kewby Meyer was named MW Player of the Week after batting .600 last week, becoming the Pack's fourth play to earn a weekly conference award this season.
· With its next victory, the Wolf Pack will eclipse its win total from last season. Nevada went 31-27 in 2014 in Johnson's first season at the helm.
· Junior RHP Adam Whitt has been named to the NCBWA Closer of the Year Award watch list and sophomore RF/LHP Trenton Brooks has been named to the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award watch list.
·Senior Austin Byler has the highest on base percentage in the nation (.532).
· Nevada leads the conference in both team batting average (.303) and team earned run average (3.89).
