University of Nevada Athletics

RENO, Nev. - Eight members of the University of Nevada rifle team were selected to the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association Scholastic All-American team. Those named to the team had a grade point average of 3.2 or better.

"We are delighted with the CRCA's recognition of our scholar athletes and will improve our numbers in the future," head coach Fred Harvey said.

Those named to the team were senior Kenneth Mickey and three juniors Greta Ochsner, Lauren Zerkovich and Niki Silveria. The underclassmen included sophomore Gavin Au along with three freshmen Justin Nissen, Emily Capaul and Sara Tashima.
