NCAA Zone E 1-meter Results
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Junior Krysta Palmer placed 21st in the preliminary round of the one-meter dive at the Cadet Natatorium on Tuesday at the NCAA Zone E Diving Regionals. Palmer missed qualification to the finals round by just three positions.
The Carson City, Nev., native earned a 257.90 overall score through six dives to place 21st out of 56 competitors. Palmer was 2.45 points shy of advancing to the finals.
Palmer, the 2015 Mountain West Diver of the Year, placed fourth in the three-meter dive on Monday to qualify for the NCAA Championships. Palmer will be one-of-three student-athletes representing the Wolf Pack at the 2015 NCAA Championships, March 19-21, in Greensboro, N.C.
The Zone E Regionals will conclude Wednesday with the platform dive. Preliminary action will begin at 10 a.m. PT while the finals will begin at 12:45 p.m. at the Cadet Natatorium.
