RENO, Nev. - The University of Nevada swimming and diving team has been selected third in the 2014-15 Mountain West Pre-Championship coaches' poll, the conference office announced Friday.

The Wolf Pack has exceeded expectations at the conference championship in both seasons under third-year head coach Abby Steketee. In her debut season, Nevada was selected eighth before placing fifth. The Pack was selected fifth in the pre-meet poll last season before battling to a third-place finish.

Boise State, the defending conference champions, are predicted to win the MW Championships while San Diego State is pegged for a runner-up finish. Nevada and Wyoming were tied for third, followed by UNLV, Air Force and New Mexico, San Jose State, Colorado State and Fresno State.

Nevada closed the regular season with an impressive 8-2 dual record, marking its highest win total under Steketee.

The 2015 Mountain West Championships will be held Feb. 18-21 inside the Palo Alto College Aquatic Center in San Antonio, Texas. Action will be streamed live on the MW Network. To view the MW Championship central webpage, click on the following link.
