NEVADA HOSTS FRESNO PACIFIC TO BEGIN THREE-GAME HOMESTAND
? Nevada (5-3) returns home to host Fresno Pacific (4-2) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. to begin a season-high three-game homestand. Drake and Santa Clara are the next two home opponents to close out the nonconference home schedule.
? The FPU game is just Nevada's third home contest in nine games this season.
? At halftime of the game Ebenezer "A Musical Christmas Carol" will perform courtesy of the El Dorado Hotel and Casino.
STATS OF NOTE
? Junior guard D.J. Fenner tied his career high with 24 points at Oregon State on Saturday. Fenner also totaled 24 points at Pacific last season. Fenner made 7-of-14 fields goals including 3-of-6 from behind the arc at OSU.
? Nevada has won five games this season and totaled nine all last year.
? Nevada leads the country averaging 7.9 blocks per game. Cameron Oliver tops the MW and ranks 14th nationally blocking 2.8 shots per game.

? The Wolf Pack's 108 points against Holy Names were the most since scoring 112 against Houston on Nov. 21, 2009. The point total is tied for the high in the MW this season. Nevada scored a season-low 62 points at Oregon State.
? Junior D.J. Fenner tied his career-high with 24 points and three made 3-pointers at Oregon State.
? Nevada tops the MW blocks per game (7.9), defensive rebounds per game (30.13), field goal percentage defense (36.3), 3-point field goal percentage defense (27.8), total blocks (63), total rebounds (358), and rebounds per game (44.75).
? After coaching over 900 games at the professional level first-year head coach Eric Musselman won his first as a college head coach when the Wolf Pack defeated Coastal Carolina 73-56 to begin the season. His 4-1 start ties the school record for a first-year coach in the NCAA I era.
? Senior Lucas Stivrins made 6-of-7, three-pointers against Holy Names and finished with a career and game-high 21 points. All Stivrins' points came in the final 9:19 of the game. He made his final four 3-point attempts and scored the Pack's final nine points and 21 of the final 25.
? Four Nevada players are averaging double figures; Marqueze Coleman (17.8 ppg), D.J. Fenner (14 ppg), Tyron Criswell (10.5 ppg) and Stivrins (10.5 ppg). AJ West (9.6 ppg) and Cameron Oliver (9.0 ppg) are close to joining them.
? Senior Marqueze Coleman produced back-to-back 30 plus point games with 34 at Hawai`i and 31 at Pacific. Coleman's 17.8 points per game is sixth in the MW. Coleman scored 20 or more points in four consecutive games until his nine at Cal State Fullerton
? Coleman's 34 points is the high by a Pack player since Malik Story scored 35 points at home against Yale on Dec. 28. The last 30-point game at Nevada came on Jan. 22, 2014 at Fresno State when Deonte Burton scored 32 points and Cole Huff had 31 in a 96-86 double overtime Wolf Pack victory.
? Coleman scored just two points on a pair of free throws in the Holy Names game but dished out a career and MW season-high 11 assists.
? Coleman's 57 free throws made is sixth and 70 attempted is 11th in NCAA I. He is attempting 8.8 free throws per game and making 7.1. In the first four games of the season he went to the free throw line double figures.
? Coleman played all 50 minutes in the double overtime win at Pacific and D.J. Fenner 48 minutes.
? Freshman Cameron Oliver is averaging nine points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.75 blocks in 24.6 minutes per game. Oliver has made three road starts at Pacific, Cal State Fullerton and Oregon State. Oliver leads the MW and ranks 14th in NCAA I averaging 2.75 blocks per game.
? Nevada's three wins away from Reno this season is one more than the team totaled all last season going 2-11 in true road games and 0-3 at neutral sites. The Pack's five wins this season is over halfway to the nine it totaled all last season.
? Nevada has started five different lineups in eight games this season.
? Twice West came off the bench this season and each time scored a season-best 16 points.
? West has recorded double-doubles three times this season; vs. Coastal Carolina (12 pts, 11 rebs), vs. Montana State (11 pts, 12 rebs) and at Pacific (11 pts, 16 rebs). He has 19 career double-doubles.
? Nevada is averaging 7.5 blocks per game to lead the country. The Pack had a season-high 11 blocks at Oregon State.
? Nevada is 14th in the country with a 36.3 field goal percentage defense. The Pack is 25th nationally in three-point field goal percentage defense (27.8).
? Of Coleman's 142 points this season 106 have been scored after halftime which is 74.6%. He scored 32 of his career-high 34 at Hawai`i after the break.

? Freshman guard Lindsey Drew returned to the starting lineup at Pacific after missing the game at Hawai`i with an ankle injury he suffered against MSU. Drew scored a season-high eight points in back-to-back games at CSUF and vs. HNU. At Pacific he had a season-best eight rebounds.
? Eric Cooper, Jr. led the Pack with a season-high 19 points at CSUF. Three times in the last four games he scored in double figures and had nine in the other game, a start vs. HNU.
? Nevada has won the rebounding battle in all eight games this season.
? Five Pack players scored in double figures in the win over Montana State; Coleman (20 pts), Fenner (17 pts), Oliver (13 pts), West (11 pts) and Cooper, Jr. (11 pts). Four times Nevada had four in doubles figures against CCU, at Pacific vs. PSU and vs. HNU.
