Nevada game notes 
NEVADA SEEKS 5-1 START AT CAL STATE FULLERTON SATURDAY
? Nevada (4-1) seeks to start the season 5-1 for the first time in 15 years as they play at Cal State Fullerton (3-1) on Saturday at 6 p.m. PT. The Titans defeated the Wolf Pack 65-55 last season in Reno on Dec. 13 to snap an 11-game losing skid to the Pack.
? Nevada is off to its best start since the 2004-05 season when the Wolf Pack also started the year 4-1. The last 5-1 start to begin a season was 2000-01 under Trent Johnson.
? The Wolf Pack have gone 3-2 at Cal State Fullerton. In Nevada's last game road game against the Titans the Pack won 82-67 on Feb. 12, 1998.
? Senior guard Marqueze Coleman has scored 20 or more points in the last four games which includes two 30 plus point games. Coleman scored 34 at Hawai`i and 31 at Pacific in back-to-back road games.
? First-year head coach Eric Musselman's 4-1 start equals the best by a first-year head coach at Nevada since the Wolf Pack moved to NCAA I in 1969-70. Mark Fox (2004-05) also posted a 4-1 record to start his Pack coaching career but did not go 5-1.

? Three Nevada players are averaging double figures; Marqueze Coleman (24 ppg), D.J. Fenner (15 ppg) and AJ West (11 ppg). Tyron Criswell (9.4 ppg) is less than a point from joining them in double figures.
? Senior Marqueze Coleman produced back-to-back 30 plus point games with 34 at Hawai`i and 31 at Pacific. Coleman's 24 points per game ranks second in the MW and 10th in NCAA I. Coleman has scored 20 or more points in the last four games.
? Coleman's 48 free throws made and 58 attempted are second in NCAA I. He is attempting 11.6 free throws per game and making 9.6. In the first four games of the season he went to the free throw line double figures.
? Coleman played all 50 minutes at Pacific and D.J. Fenner 48 minutes.
? After coaching over 900 games at the professional level first-year head coach Eric Musselman won his first as a college head coach when the Wolf Pack defeated Coastal Carolina 73-56 to begin the season.
? Nevada's three wins away from Reno this season is one more than the team totaled all last season going 2-11 in true road games and 0-3 at neutral sites.
? Nevada has started four different lineups in five games this season. The only time the Pack started the same lineup was the first two games of the season when Coleman, Fenner, West, Drew and Foster earned starts.
? West came off the bench for the first time this season in the Portland State game and scored a season-high 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
? West is averaging a double-double with his 11 points and 10.6 rebounds per game. Last season he was won 1-of-15 players to end the year averaging a double-double.
? West has recorded double-doubles three times this season; vs. Coastal Carolina (12 pts, 11 rebs), vs. Montana State (11 pts, 12 rebs) and at Pacific (11 pts, 16 rebs). He has 19 career double-doubles.
? Nevada is averaging seven blocks per game to lead the MW and rank sixth nationally.
? As a team Nevada is second in the MW and is 41st in the country with a 36.4 field goal percentage defense. The Pack is tops in three-point field goal percentage (25.5%) defense in the conference and 27th in NCAA I.
? Of Coleman's 120 points this season 90 have been scored after halftime which is 75%. He scored 32 of his career-high 34 at Hawai`i after the break.
? Coleman scored 15 of Nevada's 20 points in the two overtimes at Pacific. He had eight in the first OT and seven the second OT period.
? Coleman's 34 points is the high by a Pack player since Malik Story scored 35 points at home against Yale on Dec. 28. The last 30-point game at Nevada came on Jan. 22, 2014 at Fresno State when Deonte Burton scored 32 points and Cole Huff had 31 in a 96-86 double overtime Wolf Pack victory.
? Nevada has been outscored by its opponents 157-156 in the first half but have outscored opponents after the break by 44, 236-192 which includes a 20-17 advantage in overtime.
? Coleman and AJ West were named to the Outrigger Resorts Rainbow Classic all-tournament team.
? Freshman guard Lindsey Drew returned to the starting lineup at Pacific after missing the game at Hawai`i with an ankle injury he suffered against MSU. Drew has scored a season-high five points in each of the last two games. At Pacific he had a season-best eight rebounds.
? In the first four games of the season a Nevada player has posted the game-high in rebounds and all four times it was a double figure rebound game; West three times with 11 vs. CCU, 12 vs. MSU and 16 at Pacific while Cameron Oliver grabbed 13 vs. Hawai`i.
? Oliver, a freshman, is averaging eight points, seven rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game in 24.4 minutes per game. Oliver made his first career start at Pacific and totaled eight points, eight rebounds and four blocks before fouling out of the game.
? Nevada has won the rebounding battle in all five games; 46-45 vs. CCU, 40-33 vs. MSU, 38-37 at UH, 61-55 at Pacific and 42-40 vs. PSU.
? Five Pack players scored in double figures in the win over Montana State; Coleman (20 pts), Fenner (17 pts), Oliver (13 pts), West (11 pts) and Cooper, Jr. (11 pts). Nevada had four in doubles figures against CCU, at Pacific and vs. PSU. Three reached double figures at Hawai`i.
? Coleman and Fenner have scored in double figures in all five games this season. West has reached double figures in four games.
