The University of Nevada basketball teams got a chance to meet NBA Commissioner Adam Silver on Friday in Reno. Silver was returning from a West Coast trip where he watched the Lakers, Clippers and Warriors. Reno was the commissioner’s last stop before returning to New York.
Silver spoke with the Wolf Pack men’s and women’s basketball teams about the new NBA collective bargaining agreement, the globalization of the NBA in China and around the work. Additional topics included social media and its impact on the NBA.
He closed his talk by opening the floor to questions from the teams. Both teams were engaged in the conversation and asked numerous questions.
Lastly he posed with several of the players for photos.
