In preparation for the upcoming women's basketball season, the University of Nevada media services department will be putting out a daily `Meet the Pack' web segment, featuring all members of the Wolf Pack women's basketball team. Our second freshman feature is Teige Zeller, a 6-2 forward out of Los Lunas High School in the state of New Mexico. Zeller brings many accolades with her from her high school career, including two district titles and a state championship.

What is your favorite basketball memory?

Winning the state championship while playing for my dad

If you weren't playing basketball, what sport would you play?
Volleyball…possibly?

Where did you grow up? And what is the best thing about your hometown?
New Mexico - Open skies, stars, sunsets and sunrise

Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
I listen to the song "Background" by Lecrae and pray before every game.

What do you do when you're not playing basketball?
Study, learn, experience life with fun positive people

Who is your favorite NBA/WNBA player?
Ruthie Bolton

What is your favorite part about the game?
Basketball to me is like no other game - you never know what's going to happen.

What do you like most about Nevada?
The beautiful scenery and definitely the people, especially the team

What is the most interesting thing that you want Wolf Pack fans to know about you?
I was born in Dubai.
