OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - AJ West led Nevada with 10 points, but the Wolf Pack fell to Omaha 78-54 on Saturday.

Marqueze Coleman pitched in nine for Nevada (2-4). The Wolf Pack went just 3 of 17 on 3-pointers.

Tre'Shawn Thurman scored 18 points, Mike Rostampour added 17 points and Marcus Tyus had 12 as Omaha (3-2) shot 50 percent from the floor, including 7 of 15 (47 percent) from beyond the arc. Tyus was perfect on five shots from the floor, including a pair of 3s, and Thurman blocked five shots.

It was a tight first half, with no lead larger than five, and Tyus' 3-pointer with 1 second left gave Omaha a 32-31 lead at intermission.

The second half was a different story, as Omaha opened up a 16-point lead after a 9-0 run that saw Nevada scoreless for 3:38. The lead reached 20 on Thurman's jumper with 8:23 to go.

Today's 24-point loss was the largest margin of the season and first double figure loss of the year.

Junior point guard Marqueze Coleman did not score in double figures for the first time this season finishing with nine.

Junior forward Lucas Stivrins scored a career-high eight points and the five rebounds is one short of his career best of six set last year against Omaha.

AJ West reached double figures for the fourth time this season leading the Pack with 10 points.

Today marked the first time Nevada had just one player score in double figures.
Nevada committed a season-high 20 turnovers and attempted a season-high 59 field goals.

Nevada concludes a five-game road swing at Long Beach State on Wednesday at 7 p.m. PT.

Head coach David Carter is now 91-79 in his sixth season at Nevada. The 91 wins is tied with Len Stevens (1987-93) for sixth in career wins at Nevada.
