RENO, Nev. - The 14th ranked University of Nevada rifle team travels to Columbus, Ohio to compete in the Buckeye Open being hosted by Ohio State on Saturday.  The open is being contested over two weekends with the Wolf Pack competing the second weekend of the event.

"We look forward to OSU's Invitational tournament," head coach Fred Harvey said.  "It's an opportunity to test new equipment and skills.  OSU, as always, is a most gracious host."

Ohio State, Murray State, Columbus State, Army, Morehead State, TCU and the Pack will be competing in the two weekend event.  Six of the seven teams appear in the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association top 20.  TCU is the highest ranked team at sixth followed by Murray State at eight.  Ohio State (11th), Army (12th), Nevada (14th) and Morehead State (T18th) also appear in the poll.
