RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada rifle team moved up three spots to 14th in the latest Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association poll where they are tied with Ole Miss. The Wolf Pack opened the season with at 4603-4580 home Patriot Rifle Conference victory over #20 UTEP on Sunday.
The top three of West Virginia, Alaska and Kentucky remained the same from the preseason poll. All six PRC teams remain in the top 20; Alaska is second, Air Force at six, TCU is eighth, Ohio State appears at 10, the Pack are tied for 14th and UTEP remains at 20.
Nevada travels to El Paso, Texas this weekend to compete against #20 UTEP and #10 Ohio State.
