RENO, Nev. – The University of Nevada rifle team moved up three spots to 11th in the latest Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association poll. Despite a close loss this past weekend to #5 Air Force 4681-4646 the Wolf Pack who were tied the last two weeks at 14 is now 11th.
Five members of the Patriot Rifle Conference appear in the top 11. Air Force is up one spot to fourth followed by TCU and Alaska. Ohio State is 10th and the Wolf Pack is the fifth of six PRC schools ranked in the top 11.
After a week off the Pack returns to action Oct. 31 against Jacksonville State in Fort Worth, Texas at the TCU range. On Nov. 1 Nevada will compete against TCU and Jacksonville State at the TCU range.
