POSTGAME NOTES: Nevada (4-3) 42, BYU (4-2) 35

SERIES HISTORY
Nevada has won three out of the last four against BYU after tonight's 42-35 victory at LaVell Edwards Stadium … BYU leads the series with Nevada, 5-3-2, while the Wolf Pack improved to 2-2-2 all-time at BYU.

NEVADA MOUNTS MASSIVE RALLY
The Wolf Pack trailed 28-13 after a BYU touchdown pass just before halftime before mounting its biggest comeback of the season … Nevada went on to score 28 unanswered points, taking a 42-28 lead on two TD rushes from Cody Fajardo, a TD reception by Richy Turner and a TD rush by James Butler, all of which came in the second half … The win marked the first time Nevada has won this season after trailing at halftime (1-3), while Nevada is now 2-7 when trailing at halftime in the Brian Polian era … The Wolf Pack has outscored its opponents 91-37 in the fourth quarter this season.

FAJARDO SUPERLATIVES
After completing 26-of-40 passes for 285 yards, senior QB Cody Fajardo surpassed Eric Beavers (1983-86) for third in program history in career passing yards … In his career, Fajardo has completed 796-of-1,195 passed for 8,847 yards, trailing only David Neill (10,901) and Colin Kaepernick (10,098) in Nevada's record books … Fajardo also ran for a pair of touchdowns for the third time in the past four games, scoring on runs of one and 25-yards … Fajardo leads Nevada with eight rushing TDs on the season and 39 on his career, moving into a tie for fifth place with Frank Hawkins (1977-80) in program history.

WOLF PACK DEFENSE EXTENDS TURNOVER STREAK
The Nevada defense forced a turnover for the 20th straight game … In the third quarter, sophomore Randy Uzoma forced a fumble for the first time in his career, and senior Brock Hekking recovered and returned the ball 19 yards … It marked Nevada's longest fumble return since Jordan Dobrich's 21-yard return against Fresno State in Nov. 10, 2012 … The Wolf Pack recovered another fumble in the fourth quarter as Ian Seau forced a fumble and Matthew Lyons recovered it … Nevada's third and final fumble recovery sealed the win, as freshman Patrick Choudja forced his first career fumble and senior Jonathan McNeal recovered it, allowing Nevada to knee on the ball and clinch the win … Nevada has forced 15 turnovers this season with a +8 turnover margin.

NEVADA CONTINUES TO SHINE IN THE RED ZONE
All five of Nevada's touchdowns came in the red zone, as Nevada went 5-of-5 scoring inside the opponent's 20-yard line … On the season, the Wolf Pack has scored in 29-of-31 red zone drives.

ZUZO STAYS PERFECT BETWEEN 40-49 YARDS
In Nevada's game-opening drive, sophomore Brent Zuzo gave the Wolf Pack a 3-0 lead after making a 44-yard field goal attempt - one yard shy of his career long … The Canton, Mich., native improves to 8-of-8 on 40-49-yard field goal attempts in his career … Zuzo went 2-of-2 on the game, also making a 26-yard attempt in the second quarter … Zuzo is 7-of-9 on the season and 21-of-26 on his career.

JACKSON TALLIES CAREER-HIGH RECEIVING TOTAL
Junior RB Don Jackson led Nevada in receiving yards for the first time this season, tallying a career-high 95-yards … The Sacramento, Calif., native caught three passes, two of which were screens, for 95 yards - an average of 31.7 per catch … Jackson also added 62 on the ground on 18 carries, finishing with 157 yards of total offense.

THREE PACK DEFENDERS SECURE 10+ TACKLE GAMES
Senior Jonathan McNeal led Nevada and tied his season-high with 11 tackles … Senior Charles Garrett - making his 30th career start - tallied a season-best 10 tackles … Sophomore DB Elijah Mitchell also reached double digits in tackles for the first time in his career, posting a career-best 10 tackles to go along with one pass breakup.

PARTICIPATION
Nevada altered its offensive starting lineup for the first time in four games and altered its defensive starting lineup for the first time in three games … The Wolf Pack offense lined up in a two-tight end set for the second time this season as freshman Matt Moen earned the first start of his career … Freshman Kendall Johnson made his second career start at cornerback in place of senior Evan Favors, who suffered an injury last week at Colorado State … Senior cornerback Charles Garrett made the 30th start of his career.
