FRESNO, Calif. - The University of Nevada baseball team was eliminated from the Mountain West Championship today falling 10-1 to Fresno State at Pete Beiden Field in Fresno, Calif. The Wolf Pack ends the season 25-32.
Nevada got a sacrifice fly from first baseman Hugo Hernandez in the top of the sixth to tie the Bulldogs at one. FS scored the next nine runs to win 10-1.
Senior Tom Jameson (1-9) suffered the loss allowing nine runs on nine hits in 7.2 innings on the mound. Tyler Linehan (3-7) earned the win pitching a complete game five hitter.
Five different Pack hitters collected a hit and Hernadez drove in Nevada's only run.
The Bulldogs got home runs from Jordan Luplow and Brody Russell.
