WHAT'S HAPPENING
The University of Nevada track and field team will head to Claremont, Calif. to participate in the Cal-Nevada Championships this weekend.
The meet which will take place at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, will feature track and field programs from the states of California and Nevada.
RECAP OF LAST MEET
Nevada had a solid showing in its last meet at the Hornet Invitational. Deborah Amoah placed third overall in the 100m hurdles. Her time of 14.16 was a personal best and good for third on the WAC leader board. Amoah also finished third place in the long jump (5.68m) and triple jump (12.30m).
Other strong finishers for Nevada included Nicole Williams and Kashae Knox. Williams finished second in the high jump at 1.67 meters, while Knox placed fourth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.06.
